About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance
The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system. Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) Designer and Coordinator to join our team and support the successful delivery of road closures across the Auckland motorway network.
What you will be doing
As TMP Designer, you will deliver Computer Aided Design (CAD) plans and produce Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), including Traffic Management Diagrams (TMDs) and supporting documents to obtain approval from the Road Controlling Authority (RCA). You will also:
Ensure TMPs outline the worksite and temporary traffic management (TTM) measures for road users
Work with delivery teams to support TMP development and operations
Prioritise upcoming tasks according to the business delivery programme
Provide administrative support for electronic file system operations
Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements
About You:
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
Experience in CAD drafting
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and proven time management ability
Competent with intermediate computer skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word
Experience with roading, on-site engineering or construction field advantageous
Competent STMS advantageous
Understanding of New Zealand Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (NZGTTM)
Experienced working with clients and preparing scope of work
