Power Wash Technician

Aqua Wash Aotearoa Limited is seeking Power Wash Technician to join our team in the Auckland region. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, skilled in cleaning tasks, and committed to maintaining strong service standards. The role requires travel to various sites across Auckland and occasionally to nearby regions such as- Waikato. All travel and fuel costs will be covered by the employer.

Technical Operations

Operate, monitor, and maintain commercial-grade pressure washing and soft-wash equipment.
Complete high-pressure cleaning of exterior surfaces including buildings, roofs, driveways, walkways, decks, fences, patios, and concrete areas.
Apply soft-wash chemical treatments suitable for delicate or sensitive surfaces.
Assess surfaces, identify contaminants (moss, mould, algae, oil, grime), and determine the appropriate cleaning method.
Perform water-blasting, chemical application, and stain treatment using company- approved systems.
Safety & Compliance

Conduct pre-job risk assessments and follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Handle cleaning agents and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines (including SDS requirements).
Set up site safety barriers and signage to protect public and property during operations.
Inspect, clean, and maintain tools, hoses, pumps, and vehicles to ensure ongoing safe operation.
Quality Control

Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.
Provide before-and-after documentation (photos and notes) where required.
Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, or hazards to management promptly.
Customer Service

Communicate professionally with clients regarding cleaning processes, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions.
Represent the company positively and maintain a high standard of service.
Prepare and complete job sheets, service logs, and daily work records.
Additional Duties

Assist with transporting equipment, loading/unloading vehicles, and preparing job sites.
Work collaboratively with team members and support training when required.
Perform other reasonable duties within the scope of the role as directed by management.
Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $35 per hour.

Other requirements for the role:

Relevant work experience is preferred and not mandatory as we can provide required training.
Flexible to work on weekends or as required by operational needs.
You must have a valid Driver’s License as you may be required to drive company vehicle to different sites.
Comfortable working in cold and wet conditions, including handling cold water during winter.
Physically fit to perform various manual tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrates a reliable, proactive, and professional work ethic.
