Special Hazards Technician

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Special Hazards Technician to join our Service team, based in Auckland.


The position focuses on compliance testing, routine maintenance, and effective repair or servicing of special hazard systems across a range of environments. This role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently in high‑risk or highly regulated settings to keep critical protection systems operating at peak performance.

Candidate must have:

At least 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry (Special hazards)
Excellent communication skills.
Be physically fit.
Have a high level of punctuality.
Good at problem-solving - ability to identify and rectify problems.
Be capable, competent, and have a good, polite positive manner at all times
