Position: Mechanic
Responsibilities:
Inspecting and repairing vehicles to prepare them for sale
Carrying out repairs required after WoF failures
Diagnosing faults using vehicle diagnostic scanners
Troubleshooting and repairing vehicle electrical systems
General mechanical repairs and servicing
Installing accessories (bull bars, snorkels, lighting, etc.) when mechanical workload is light
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
Requirements:
Proven 5+ years of experience as a mechanic
Minimum Level 4 qualification in auto dignostics
Confident using diagnostic scan tools
Ability to work unsupervised and manage jobs efficiently
Full drivers licence with clean driving record
Valid right to work in New Zealand
Salary: 24.00-24.30

Grooming and detailing vehicles
General yard duties such as moving cars and keeping the yard tidy
Assisting the team where needed
Requirements:
4+ Years of vehicle grooming experience
Minimum level 3 or 4 qualification in any field
Class 4 drivers licence with clean driving record
A team player with a great attitude
Someone reliable and hard-working

Duties
As Workshop Manager, you will:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marine technicians across workshops and mobile service teams.
Plan, schedule, and prioritise workshop workloads to meet deadlines efficiently.
Ensure high-quality standards across diagnostics, service, repairs, and repower work.
Maintain compliance with health & safety standards, workshop tools, and parts inventory.
Support recruitment, training, and development of technical staff.
Foster a positive, solutions-focused workshop culture.
Requirements:
Proven 5+ years of experience managing or supervising a mechanical workshop team, or similar trade environment.
Strong technical knowledge of automotive engines and systems (diesel and outboards), ideally including European and Japanese.
Minimum level 7 or bachelors qualification in Automotive or managment.
Hands-on leadership style with a focus on problem-solving, productivity, and team culture.
Electrical and First aid certificates and Commitment to workplace health & safety and high-quality service standards.
Salary: 24.50-24.80
