Job Description
NIRMAL 0013 LIMITED is seeking an experienced Bar/Venue Manager to join its team in the Wellington region. The ideal candidate will be reliable, motivated, and capable of managing operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and supervise day-to-day bar and venue operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and smooth coordination across all teams.
Staff Training and Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop bar and service staff to deliver high-quality, personalised customer service and product knowledge.
Menu Development: Assist in designing, updating, and implementing food and beverage menus, including developing new cocktail offerings and promoting specials to customers.
Customer Experience Management: Handle and resolve escalated customer complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high service standards.
Supplier and Inventory Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manage ordering processes, and ensure appropriate stock levels at all times.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements and alcohol-related legislation, including the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
Vendor and Partner Liaison: Coordinate with vendors, contractors, security personnel, and technicians to support events and daily venue operations.
Marketing and Promotions: Plan and implement marketing and promotional initiatives to increase patronage and customer retention.
Hands-on Service Support: Assist with drink preparation, service, and sales during peak periods to support operational needs.
Licensing and Permit Compliance: Ensure all required licences, permits, and operational approvals are maintained and adhered to at all times.
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $35 per hour.
Other requirements:
· Minimum of one year of relevant work experience or a Level 5 qualification or above
· Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
· Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
· Strong leadership skills
· Hardworking, passionate, and a team player
· Multitasking abilities with a focus on efficiency
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
