Job Description

The Installation Training Specialist – Monogram Center of Excellence is responsible for managing and delivering best-in-class installation training for Monogram’s luxury appliance portfolio. This role oversees a dedicated, hands-on training facility and serves as a subject matter expert for installation standards, certification, and field support.

The Specialist leads immersive classroom and practical training sessions for trade partners, key customers, and internal stakeholders—ensuring installers meet Monogram’s premium quality, safety, and performance expectations. This role also supports certification and recertification programs, installation support channels, and continuous improvement initiatives tied to new product introductions and evolving installation requirements.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Installation Training & Program Management (60%)

Manage all installation training activities at the Monogram Installation Center of Excellence located within the CoCreate facility.
Lead instructor-led classroom sessions and hands-on installation training for third-party installers and key customer installation teams.
Design, develop, and deliver technical installation training programs, including curriculum, digital content, and printed instructional materials.
Ensure training content reflects current installation standards, serviceability requirements, and new product introductions (NPI).
Apply adult learning principles to maximize engagement, comprehension, and retention during live training sessions.
Conduct practical assessments and certification testing to validate installer competency; manage certification and recertification processes.
Maintain accurate records of training participation, certification status, and completion metrics.
Continuously evaluate and refine training programs based on participant feedback, field insights, and performance outcomes.
Partner with Installation Support Specialists and cross-functional teams to align training with real-world field challenges.
Provide structured feedback and insights to the Sr. National Installation Manager to support continuous improvement and field readiness.
Training Logistics & Experience Management

Coordinate all logistical aspects of installer training events, including travel, hotel accommodations, and meals, in partnership with approved vendors and third-party contractors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for training logistics to ensure a seamless, professional participant experience.
Ensure all travel and lodging arrangements comply with company policies, budget guidelines, and training schedules.
Safety & Compliance

Ensure all training activities comply with safety standards, appliance handling requirements, and ergonomic best practices.
Model and enforce safe installation techniques to reduce installer injury, property damage, and product risk.
Reinforce proper appliance handling during all hands-on training sessions.
Installation Support & Subject Matter Expertise (30%)

Serve as the installation subject matter expert for the Monogram Installation Support phone line, email inbox, and support ticketing system.
Provide timely, accurate, and professional technical support to dealers, consumers, designers, appliance servicers, factory service technicians, and internal sales teams.
Leverage all available tools and resources to drive effective issue resolution.
Support the Monogram field sales organization with installation expertise and guidance.
Manage installation-related help desk communications via phone and email.
Product Specifications & Continuous Improvement (10%)

Collaborate closely with internal product teams to create, review, and update Monogram installation specifications and guides.
Review new and existing specifications for accuracy, clarity, and ease of installation.
Provide timely feedback and failure-to-install insights to support root cause analysis, quality improvements, and SCR reduction initiatives.
What You'll Bring to Our Team

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
Minimum of three years of experience in appliance service, installation, or technical training.
Strong understanding of appliances, manufacturing environments, installation processes, and technical training.
Proven self-starter with the ability to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
Strong project leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and web-based applications.
Ability to lead and manage multi-day (2-day) installer training courses, facilitate group participation, and manage practical assessments.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Willingness and ability to travel 45–60% domestically by car or airplane.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with appliance manufacturing, installation, and service operations.
Prior experience delivering technical training or teaching adult learners.
Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and hands-on training best practices.
Bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish).
Experience leading classroom instruction and managing hands-on training environments.
Working Conditions

Primary work location: Monogram Installation Center of Excellence within the CoCreate facility in Stamford, CT.
Standard office environment with hands-on training components.
Ability to lift 70+ pounds to assist with moving appliances and training equipment.
Occasional remote work may be approved; home internet must meet minimum performance requirements:

Company-provided computer equipment must be hardwired via Ethernet (Wi-Fi not permitted for call quality).

Pay: $61,903.00 - $111,240.00 per year
