We are currently seeking Server Assistants to join our opening team and help deliver a memorable, high-energy service experience.

Position Overview

Server Assistants play a key role in the flow of service. This position supports servers and by maintaining table cleanliness, assisting with food and beverage delivery, and ensuring the dining room is reset, stocked, and guest-ready at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Clear and reset tables efficiently and discreetly
Support servers with food running and guest needs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations
Refill water, assist with bread service, and support pacing of courses
Communicate clearly with servers, hosts, and managers to ensure smooth service flow
Uphold Shiso’s service standards, cleanliness, and attention to detail
Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned
Qualifications

Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required
Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Professional demeanor and positive attitude
Willingness to learn and grow within a service-driven operation
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Compensation & Perks

Hourly base pay plus participation in the tip pool
Daily staff meal at the start of shift

Pay Structure

$9/hour base hourly rate, plus tips through a pooled house system.
