What We're Looking For

A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Previous warehouse experience
You’ll be keen to learn some new skills, to be able to step up as Key Op (or had previous experience in a similar role), to help run the shift, in the absence of a Team Manager

What You'll Be Doing?

From the moment the shift starts at 6, our Warehouse Team Members are at the heart of keeping Britain’s favourite bakery running smoothly. You’ll be hands-on with loading, moving, and organising products, ensuring everything is ready to go out fresh and on time. It’s fast-paced, physical, and rewarding — and with the chance to upskill to Key Operator, you’ll be stepping into a role where leadership and teamwork go hand in hand:

Work as part of a close-knit warehouse team to ensure smooth operations
Handle goods safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene
Learn and develop Key Operator skills to support operational leadership when required

Located in the heart of Lancashire is the home of our delicious Crumpets, Pancakes, and Potato Cakes and other freshly baked products that are produced and distributed from our Burnley Bakery. With approximately 360 colleagues, working across 7 manufacturing plants and on a variety of different shift patterns, we operate 363 days of the year running 24 hours a day.
