Mortgage Administrator
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £25,000-£30,000
Hours: Full time, permanent – Standard hours 8:30am–5:00pm (with 1 hour lunch) – Hybrid/Flexible working arrangements available

The Opportunity
As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mortgage applications. This position involves working closely with mortgage advisers to provide high-quality administrative support and ensure clients enjoy a seamless experience from initial enquiry to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Mortgage Administration: Support mortgage advisers (both employed and self-employed) in processing cases from initial enquiry through to completion.

Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders regarding case progress.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the company’s systems for audit and compliance purposes.

General Administration: Carry out a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the business.

About You
Essential:

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in dealing with clients and stakeholders.

Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Desirable:

Previous administrative experience (training can be provided for the right candidate).

Experience in financial services or mortgage administration.

Knowledge of financial services software.
