Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

Support a focused project delivery team, working closely with two Assistant Project Managers.
Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly project and programme reporting.
Support risk and opportunity management activities.
Maintain delivery schedules, forecasts and baseline change requests.
Raise, track and monitor purchase order requisitions to support procurement activities.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 1 day in the office and 4 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Project Assistant

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working effectively as part of a team.
Ability to demonstrate drive, initiative and a positive approach to daily tasks.
Strong organisational skills and a task‑orientated mindset.
(Desirable) Experience raising requisitions or working with purchase orders.
(Desirable) Experience of IFS or similar ERP/Oracle systems.

Qualifications for the Project Assistant

No formal qualifications are required for this role.
Any project-related training or exposure to ERP systems would be beneficial.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. You will be eligible to start on Standard (BPSS) security clearance but you will need to obtain Security Check (SC) once in post.

Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. This means that your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
