About Us

Ying Wah Property is a UK-based sales and letting management company serving both UK and international clients. We have offices in Birmingham, Manchester, London and Hong Kong, and manage a growing portfolio across property sales, lettings and management services.

We work closely with Hamptons in supporting their Hong Kong and China markets, and operate Hamptons International Hong Kong for overseas property marketing and client services in those regions.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Property Accounts Administrator to join our Birmingham Chinatown office to support both our lettings and sales accounts operations.

Role Overview

This is a combined accounts and administration role supporting both the Lettings Management Team and Sales Team. The role includes accounts processing, invoicing, reconciliations, listing administration, and coordination with external organisations to assist with property-related billing matters for landlords.

This role suits candidates who enjoy structured financial and administrative work in a busy property environment with clear progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Process rental income and landlord payments
Prepare monthly client and management accounts
Chase rent arrears and outstanding balances
Process and pay contractor invoices
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and office accounts tasks
Maintain client accounts and manage fund transfers
Perform daily bank reconciliations for client and deposit accounts
Work with lettings and property management teams to produce client statements
Prepare and issue invoices for the Sales Team
Assist with sales-related payment tracking and account records
Upload and update property listings on Rightmove and Zoopla
Support property listing administration and updates
Contact local councils, utility providers and building management companies when required
Assist landlords with bill and account coordination for managed properties
Requirements

Previous accounts or finance experience preferred
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Able to manage workload and deadlines in a busy office environment
Good communication and customer service skills
Confident IT user and able to learn new systems quickly
Experience with Sage or Arthur property software is an advantage
Ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly desirable due to our client base
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
