PURPOSE
To deliver high-quality plastering and rendering services that enhance the aesthetic and structural integrity of various surfaces.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Join Sarabloh Solid Plastering Pty Ltd as a solid plasterer, where you'll apply and finish plaster and render on diverse surfaces. Your role will include surface preparation and mixing materials to achieve a high‑quality finish. Attention to detail and teamwork are crucial for meeting project specifications and deadlines.
REPORTING TO
The position reports to Operation Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate III or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a solid plasterer preferred.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in plastering is a plus.
- Knowledge of different types of plaster materials and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess and determine plasterboard layouts while installing insulation and vapor barriers for enhanced performance.
- Measure, mark, and cut plasterboard, effectively lifting and securing panels on walls, ceilings, and battens.
- Prepare and secure corner beads, along with installing pre‑cast cornices, panel moldings, and ceiling centers.
- Fill joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, smoothing surfaces with brushes and sandpaper.
- Mix and apply layers of plaster, cement, and render using trowels, ensuring a consistent thickness across surfaces.
- Level and straighten corners, angles, and surfaces of walls and ceilings for a refined finish.
- Create decorative textures in finishing coats to meet design specifications.
- Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster and related compounds.
WORKING HOURS
Full‑time position, 38 hours per week.

We service a diverse range of clients; our projects include property repairs, complete rebuilds, renovations, and property refurbishments. We install Hebel and polystyrene. Our team members are great to work with and the successful candidate will be joining a positive working environment.

Pay: $77,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
