Job Description
At Axil, we’re helping businesses across the UK rethink waste. From aerospace and automotive to food and pharmaceuticals, we deliver smarter, greener, more compliant waste solutions that reduce environmental impact and deliver real value.
As our business grows, we’re looking for an Information Coordinator to support our commitment to compliance and data accuracy – ensuring that we continue to operate to the highest standards for both our clients and our supply chain.
What You'll Do
As Information Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and managing key compliance data across our supplier network and client portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone detail-driven, process-focused, and passionate about getting things right.
Key Responsibilities:
Check and verify supplier information using search engines and government databases (e.g. waste carrier licences, permits).
Track expiry dates and proactively obtain up-to-date legal documents from suppliers.
Upload and manage duty of care documentation via internal portals.
Communicate compliance requirements clearly with vendors and ensure timely return of signed documents.
Populate client portals with relevant compliance and waste collection documentation.
Work with internal teams, like Administration & Service Delivery, to retrieve and verify missing or incomplete data.
Respond promptly to customer queries and provide accurate, helpful information.
Occasionally assist with incoming calls and route queries to the relevant department.
Carry out background checks on new or existing suppliers using online research tools.
What We're Looking For
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to data management.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Confident using online systems, search engines, and government databases.
Clear communication skills - both written and verbal.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines across multiple projects.
A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in compliance, document control, or waste/environmental services is a plus (but not essential).
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
We are a leading waste management company who specialise in recycling and total customer waste management.
Our mission is to be a trusted partner in waste prevention, guiding our customers to make informed, data-driven decisions.
We aim to set new industry standards and re-engineer waste to reduce environmental impact and cost.
Our staff are our most important asset. We pride ourselves in being a friendly, professional and supportive company that champions internal promotion and progression. We employ over 200 employees in a variety of positions across the UK.
