Job Description

Sales Coordinator

Location: Street, Somerset
Company: Total Clean Air Limited

A Career-Defining Opportunity in a Growing Cleanroom Engineering Business

Total Clean Air is a specialist cleanroom, containment, LEV and controlled environment engineering company operating across the UK and internationally.

We design, build, validate and maintain:

GMP cleanrooms
ISO-classified cleanrooms
Pharmaceutical and life sciences manufacturing environments
Laboratory containment facilities
Modular cleanroom systems
Specialist HVAC and filtration solutions
Our clients operate in highly regulated sectors where precision, compliance and quality are critical.

We are growing rapidly — expanding our modular product ranges, increasing project values and strengthening our national presence.

We are now seeking a highly capable, commercially aware Sales Coordinator to operate at the centre of our business.

This is not a support role.
It is a coordination, control and momentum-driving role with genuine responsibility from day one.

The Position

You will work directly alongside five Directors:

Managing Director
Technical Director
Operations Director
Projects Director
Service Director
You will also coordinate closely with Operations, Service, Quality, Purchasing and Finance.

You will act as the commercial and operational conduit — ensuring cleanroom and engineering opportunities are professionally managed from initial enquiry through to handover.

You will bring structure, clarity and pace to the sales process.

Core Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage incoming enquiries for cleanroom and engineering projects
Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline tracking
Support preparation of detailed technical quotations and tender submissions
Liaise with design, engineering and projects teams to gather technical data
Facilitate purchasing input during bid preparation
Ensure compliance documentation and quality requirements are captured
Coordinate proposal deadlines and submission standards
Provide structured reporting and updates to Directors
Ensure seamless handover from sales to project delivery
You will be expected to operate confidently within a technical engineering environment.

What Makes This Role Different

This is a fast-paced, high-visibility position inside a growing specialist engineering company.

You will:

Communicate with pharmaceutical and life sciences clients
Support multi-disciplinary engineering tenders
Work across five Directors
See strategic decisions in real time
Be trusted with commercially sensitive information
The right individual will grow with the business.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with the capability, drive and presence to operate at leadership level from day one.

Essential Attributes

Commercial Awareness

Understands the importance of margin, accuracy and professionalism
Appreciates the impact of detail on commercial success
Organisation & Precision

Highly structured and process-driven
Exceptional attention to detail
Able to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
Communication Excellence

Clear, confident written communication
Professional and engaging telephone manner
Comfortable speaking with engineers, directors and clients
Drive & Ownership

Self-motivated and proactive
Takes responsibility rather than waiting for instruction
Thrives in busy, demanding environments
Customer-Focused Mindset

Passionate about delivering outstanding service
Positive, confident and solutions-focused
Engaging and professional under pressure
Desirable Experience

Experience within engineering, construction, technical or regulated industries
Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management
Exposure to tender submissions or commercial documentation
Experience supporting senior leadership teams
Industry experience in cleanrooms or pharmaceuticals is beneficial but not essential — aptitude and attitude are more important.

Personal Characteristics

This role will suit someone who:

Enjoys challenge and responsibility
Is ambitious and career-driven
Wants exposure to business strategy
Takes pride in accuracy and presentation
Brings positive energy to a growing team
If you prefer routine, low-pressure environments, this role will not suit you.

If you enjoy growth, pace and accountability — it will.

The Opportunity

Total Clean Air is building innovative modular cleanroom products alongside its established engineering services.

We are:

Expanding into new markets
Increasing project values
Growing our national profile
Investing in our people
The right candidate will have clear progression opportunities as the business scales.

Benefits

Competitive salary (experience dependent)
Direct exposure to five Directors and strategic decision-making
Genuine career progression pathway
Involvement in high-value, regulated engineering projects
Supportive “We Care” culture
Modern office environment
Company events
Performance-related incentives for the right individual
Final Word

This is an opportunity to be central to a specialist cleanroom and engineering business at a pivotal growth stage.

We are looking for someone capable, driven and positive — someone who wants to build a career, not simply hold a position.

If that sounds like you, we would like to hear from you.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Benefits:

On-site parking
Ability to commute/relocate:

Street BA16 0HW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Work Location: In person
