About the role

This role supports product availability, inventory accuracy, and operational compliance for Stryker South Pacific. You will manage inventory controls, work closely with suppliers, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to continuous improvement. Your work ensures reliable stock levels, strong governance, and smooth operational flow across the business.

About you

You are detail‑focused, analytical, and confident working with data to solve problems. You thrive in fast‑paced environments, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and enjoy improving processes. You bring solid supply chain or inventory experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions.

Key responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory levels and alignment between physical stock and system data

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment

Investigate and resolve inventory variances through data analysis and stakeholder engagement

Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and quality standards

Verify purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation

Support cross‑functional teams to improve inventory processes and operational efficiency

Contribute to continuous improvement and governance documentation

Must have experience/skills

Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain principles, and internal controls

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data interpretation skills

Experience in inventory control, supply chain, operations, or similar analytical roles

Proven ability to investigate discrepancies and support audits

Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capability

Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities

Proficiency in Excel and exposure to inventory or ERP systems

Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field (or studying towards)

Nice to have experience/skills

Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., JDE or similar)

Exposure to continuous improvement or optimisation initiatives

Experience in a regulated or quality‑driven environment
