About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Grounds Person to join our dedicated team at Ōtau Ridge Village in Clevedon, South Auckland.

This is an entry-level role ideal for someone with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will help keep our beautiful village looking immaculate while also supporting residents with driving duties.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain clean and tidy grounds, including leaf removal and general garden upkeep
Rubbish removal and recycling management
Water blasting of pathways and paved areas
Planting and assisting with garden care
Drive the village van for resident outings, shopping trips, and planned excursions
What We’re Looking For

Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks
Strong health and safety awareness
Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Full, clean manual driver’s licence (essential)
First Aid certificate (preferred, but we can support training)
