Contract: Permanent, full-time

About the Role

This is an essential role within a community mental health team of mixed disciplines providing secondary support to tangata whaiora and their whānau within the community.

This role is a varied, interesting and sometimes challenging position working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The work is a diverse mix of front facing reception duties and clinical administrative tasks, which includes but not limited to attending a range of meetings, taking minutes and providing administrative assistance to the wider team. This is a role that allows for professional growth, training and opportunity for new experiences

The salary range is for this position is $59,313 - $76,705.

About the Team/Service Location

ICAFS is a community-based team that provide specialist assessment and treatment for 0 - 18-year-olds and their families/ whanau. We offer a range of therapeutic approaches as well as having two specialist treatment teams, family therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). ICAFS functions with an admin team of 3, as well as a large clinical team of passionate clinicians, including social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and psychotherapists.

The successful applicant will be able to work collaboratively and supportively with the admin team and clinical team members. The person suitable for this role will also have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a front facing health sector environment. Other skills and experience we are looking for include:

Minimum 2years experience in health/mental health administration
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
Ability to move from one task to another with ease
Ability to prioritise tasks in an often times fast paced environment
Ability to meet and greet patients, parents, caregivers and whanau along with clinicians and other Te Whatu Ora staff with the same professionalism and care.
