Job Description

Why Join StudyPug Learning?

For over 20 years, StudyPug Learning has helped thousands of Vancouver students excel academically. Our Richmond learning centre is the heart of our operations—where students come to learn, parents come to inquire, and teachers come to inspire.

We’re looking for a friendly, organized individual to be the welcoming face of our centre.

About the Role

As our Client Services Representative, you’re the first person families meet when they walk through our doors or call our centre. You’ll handle front desk operations, support daily scheduling, and ensure smooth communication between parents, students, and our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves organization, enjoys interacting with people, and has an interest in education.

What You’ll Do

Welcome visitors: Greet students, parents, and walk-in inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor
Answer calls: Handle incoming phone inquiries, provide basic information, and route calls appropriately
Manage scheduling: Coordinate lesson bookings, room assignments, and teacher schedules
Support administration: Maintain student files, process payments, and handle basic paperwork
Connect inquiries to consultants: Identify prospective families and connect them with our Education Consultants for program discussions
Assist teachers and students: Provide logistical support—printing materials, setting up rooms, tracking attendance
Maintain the centre: Ensure reception area and common spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming
What You Bring

Required:

Professional, friendly demeanor—you enjoy interacting with families and students
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a busy environment without getting flustered
Basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, Google Workspace)
Reliable and punctual
Preferred:

Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese (highly valued for our Richmond clientele)
Experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles
Interest in education—bonus if you’ve tutored or have a Math/Science background
Familiarity with Canadian school systems
What We Offer

Competitive pay: $18 - $21/hour based on experience
Flexible scheduling: Full-time or part-time options available
Free parking: On-site parking at our Richmond location
Supportive team: Work alongside passionate educators and consultants
Growth potential: Opportunity to transition into Student Success Coordinator or Education Consultant roles
Skill development: Gain experience in education operations and client services
Schedule

8-hour shifts available
Must have availability on weekends (our busiest times)
Part-time candidates: minimum 20 hours/week preferred
