Please note: This job is unique:
A: Understand that it is extremely rare that I ever interview (much less seldom hire) cca’s, psw’s, nurses, and such. As indicated in bullet C:, I tend to hire people with zero experience in health care, so that I can train my staff to meet my individual needs.
B: If after answering ALL of the following questions, I do not send an interview time within three weeks, it most likely means that you have not been selected to proceed further in my hiring process. Due to the sheer volume of applicants, I cannot respond to each individual.
C: Know upfront that I consider having ZERO EXPERIENCE, but a WILLINGNESS TO LEARN, along with a positive attitude and mindset, in this case, is a very good thing.
D: Know upfront that I absolutely NEVER pay in cash! (If that’s the kind of job you’re looking for, please don’t apply.)

Employer Information and Job Description:
I am an adult female with a physical disability. I am highly intelligent and live a full and active life. I am a writer, Indie Publisher, and Disability Rights Advocate. I own three businesses. The irony about me is that although I am extremely independent mentally, physically I need assistance with pretty much everything; from getting up, to eating, to using the washroom, to daily chores and errands. None of the assistance I need is of a medical nature. It’s stuff you do for yourself everyday.
This is where you come in: I am currently looking to hire 2-3 extremely reliable people to work my various shifts.
Location: West End Halifax, very close to Halifax Shopping Centre.
Hourly Wage: Starting at $21.00 per hour and likely to increase,+ 4% vacation pay added to each pay. For more details about pays, please see "Pay Information" on the website.

Note: Specific shift preferences may be able to be arranged after job familiarity is achieved, but my onboarding process is often to start new staff off on the easier shifts (afternoons &; bedtimes) until I feel comfortable with the new staff.
