Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter Helper to support our construction and renovation projects. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in carpentry and related trades. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters with various tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
• Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution.
• Support concrete forming, rebar installation, siding, roofing, and tile laying tasks as directed.
• Help with cabinet installation, woodworking, assembly, and general carpentry duties.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, and fitting materials.
• Support masonry work, flooring installation, caulking, and electrical or plumbing-related tasks when needed.
• Assist with heavy lifting and material transportation around job sites.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout all phases of construction.
• Collaborate with team members on restoration projects and other specialized construction activities.

Qualifications
• Basic understanding of construction principles; previous handyman or construction experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints is preferred.
• Experience or knowledge in masonry, concrete forming, cabinetry, roofing, siding, or flooring installation is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Prior experience with electrical or plumbing work is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to carpentry and construction trades. This position provides valuable on-the-job training in various aspects of carpentry and construction while supporting the overall project goals through teamwork and dedication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
