Retail Supervisor

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Supervisor to lead our in-store team at Gotcha Fresh Tea. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who is passionate about customer service, team development, and operational excellence. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales, support and guide staff, and ensure the store consistently meets company standards. Working across a 7 day per week trade, must be available for evenings and weekends regularly.

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.

· Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

· Prepare and oversee the preparation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency are maintained.

· Manage staff rosters, breaks, and shift coverage as required.

· Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.

· Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

· Oversee cash handling procedures and assist with opening and closing duties.

· Communicate with management regarding staff performance, customer feedback, and operational improvements.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within retail or hospitality (preferred).

· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

· Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

· Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

· Education or certifications in hospitality or business management are advantageous.
