Data Entry Clerk/Bookkeeping Assistant

Full job description
Data Entry/Bookkeeping Assistant required to join our team of 2 for a growing home-based bookkeeping/tax company. I am looking for someone who can work 5 days a week Monday to Friday in my centrally located home office (Bonnie Doon) surrounded by a beautiful backyard garden.

Excellent typing and number keypad speed is a must. Looking for someone who already has experience in data-entry and reconciliation, who is able to problem solve and apply themselves while working on their own once trained. The successful candidate must understand Debits and Credits thoroughly and be able to apply that understanding to real bookkeeping transactions. A history of using various modules inside Quickbooks Online in a previous job is a must (A/R, A/P, reconciling, reporting, searches and researching problems). I need you to have some experience and education in bookkeeping already. Pay starts at $23-$26 depending on experience and speed but will increase with improvement.
