Job Description

We are currently seeking a Quality Advisor with a solid understanding of food manufacture and quality control to work with our Cream Products Manufacturing team.



The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating non-conformity within the production area, determining the root cause of problems and implementing corrective actions in a timely fashion to prevent recurrence.



The role requires close liaison with the Quality and Regulatory Assurance team as well as the production team and will play an integral part in Customer, Regulatory and Management System audits. Other responsibilities include assisting with the preservation of the high manufacturing standards in accordance with HACCP and Quality Protocols.


Key Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve non-conformances, ensuring timely corrective and preventative actions
Assist with the development, maintenance, and improvement of Quality and Risk Management Programmes
Conduct validation and verification activities in line with regulatory and internal requirements
Support Customer, Regulatory, and Management System audits
Assist with risk assessments related to process or product changes.

Skills & Attributes

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and strong critical thinking
Competent in spreadsheet and word‑processing applications (e.g., Excel)
Practical mindset, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
Proven experience working with quality and product safety management systems
Previous experience in food production and/or investigating non‑conformities.

A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Engineering or relevant laboratory / operating skills would be an advantage but is not essential. This role may also suit an experienced operator looking to step off shift work and develop their career within quality and compliance.
