I’m looking for a detail oriented, creative Writer/Editor to join my team. This role focuses on editing draft blog articles for clarity, accuracy and a more natural, human tone.. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, research abilities and proficient word processing knowledge. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to compelling projects while honing your writing skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Edit existing blog drafts to improve it and fact check it.
Proofread to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency and adherence to style guidelines.
Conduct research to gather relevant information and verify facts for accuracy
Utilize word processing software to format and finalize documents
Review content for clarity, tone and overall quality before publication
Stay updated on industry trends to produce relevant and engaging material
Skills

Strong proofreading and copy editing abilities
Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail
Solid research skills to gather accurate information efficiently
Proficiency in word processing tools such as Grammarly, Microsoft Word,Google Docs, originality.ai, Surfer, Frase and other related tools.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 5 per week
