Remuneration: $67,759 per annum plus 12% superannuation, allowances and shift penalties
Hours Per Week: 38
Location: North Parramatta


The Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled Fitter Mechanic to join our Parramatta Linen Services team at HealthShare NSW on night shift.

In this role, you'll be responsible for performing mechanical work in our laundry facility and ensuring the plant's productivity through preventative maintenance. You'll also have the chance to showcase your repair skills by undertaking basic repairs on plant and other parts within the service.

Eligibility Requirements

Meet essential requirements as outlined in the Position Description and ensure they are referenced in answers to targeted questions, or in your resume

Must have an Australian recognised Fitter Trade qualification

Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa

This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines. During application, please upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with any vaccination evidence you have

If you are identified as a preferred candidate and are external to HealthShare NSW, you will be required to complete a physical pre-employment health assessment (at no cost to you) to confirm your ability to safely perform the duties of the role.
