Furniture Removal Drivers - 4 positions available

We are currently looking for Funiture removal drivers ( 4 positions) in Christchurch- Cantebrury.


This is a full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week(maximum 50 hours)

Job Duties:

Delivering items to customer sites
Collecting items from vendors
Safely operate company vehicle to transport furniture and other items to designated locations.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and loading/ unloading cargo.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle.
Assist with loading and unloading of items as needed, ensuring items are handled with care.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries made.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items in a timely and professional manner.

Skills required:

Valid driver's license of Class 4 or overseas equivlant with a clean driving record.
Excellent driving skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Other Details:

Pay Rate: $28-$34
Number of positions: 4
Minimum 30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on operational needs up to 50 hours.
Mon to Sunday with 1-2 days off, Work may involve early starts, variable hours, and weekend duties.
