Does 9 weeks leave and working 34 hours a week in a modern workshop using the latest technology sound like a pipe dream?

Are you looking for a change of pace after years of physically demanding mahi? This mahi is real and life changing.

We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Tutor to share their knowledge and join our School of General Engineering tutors, who are like family, a close-knit dedicated team who are passionate about achieving real outcomes for our mechanical trades' students. Concerned that you don't have any experience in teaching ? No need to worry, you'll be provided with comprehensive training and support with the teaching tools to become a successful tutor at MIT.

Mōu te take- E uiga ia te oe - About you:

You are an experienced sheet metal worker with mechanical trades knowledge and industry experience
You pride yourself on your excellent TIG welding skills with Stainless steel
You bring understanding and experience in the use of CNC brake press and CNC plasma cutting
CAD Knowledge is a bonus
The ability to organise and keep accurate records.
You will enjoy working with a diverse range of people and have a good sense of humour and patience
If you are a proud trade qualified professional with at least 4 years' experience in the NZ industry and are interested in sharing your wealth of experience to bring on the next generation into Fabrication, we would like to hear from you.
