Online Calculus Tutor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Online Math Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong communication skills, and experience working with high school students. This role involves providing personalized tutoring sessions focused on test strategies, subject mastery, and confidence building to help students excel in standardized exams and classroom assessments.

Duties

Conduct online one-on-one tutoring sessions to prepare students for Math and Calculus subjects.
Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's strengths and areas for improvement
Teach test-taking strategies, time management, and problem-solving techniques
Prepare lessons for students
Utilize computer skills to incorporate educational software and online resources into tutoring sessions
Monitor student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback
Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and motivation
Assign and mark daily homework
Requirements

Experience working with high school students
Familiar with Canadian Math Curriculum
Strong background in Math and Calculus
Knowledge of standardized testing formats and effective test preparation techniques
Online Teaching experience in Mathematics
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with educational technology tools
Passion for helping students succeed academically and build self-confidence
Shift

Monday to Friday from 1pm to 3pm MT
Flexible on weekend
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 15 per week
