Art Teacher - Secondary School
Location: Coburg Campus

We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our Years 6–12 campus. The successful applicant will inspire students through engaging and rigorous visual arts programs, fostering creativity & technical skills.

The role involves planning and delivering Art lessons aligned with curriculum requirements (VCE and/or IB experience highly regarded), assessing student progress, and contributing to a vibrant arts culture within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Visual Arts curriculum
Develop students’ practical and conceptual art-making skills
Maintain a safe and well-managed studio environment
Selection Criteria:

Relevant teaching qualification and VIT registration
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement
The incumbent of this role must comply with AIA’s child safety policies and related policies and procedures (including the Code of Conduct), upholding the overarching principles and values set out and conducting themselves in accordance with the commitment to take all reasonable steps to promote the safety of children.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.95 – $65.00 per hour
