Kitchen / Float / Programming Cover Educator (ECE)

Chipmunks by the Sea is a warm, welcoming early learning centre where children are supported to grow, explore, and thrive. We are currently seeking a flexible and reliable Kitchen / Float / Programming Cover Educator to join our supportive team.

About the Role
This varied and rewarding role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting the centre in multiple ways. You will be responsible for:

Kitchen Support

Assisting with the preparation and serving of nutritious meals and snacks
Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area in line with regulations
Float Educator

Supporting children across all rooms as needed
Assisting educators with daily routines, transitions, and supervision
Building warm, respectful relationships with children and staff
Programming Cover

Stepping into rooms to support or lead learning experiences when educators are programming, on leave, or non-contact time
Following existing programs and routines aligned with the EYLF
Supporting children’s learning through play-based experiences
About You
We are looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate III
Has a current Working With Children Check
Has (or is willing to obtain) Food Safety / Food Handling certification
Is flexible, adaptable, and confident working across different roles
Demonstrates a warm, nurturing approach with children
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
