Job Description
Citipointe Christian College is currently seeking a Primary student support teacher and case manager on a fixed term contract.
Requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree in education, with a focus on Special Education, Inclusive Education, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience as a primary school teacher, with a strong background in student support and case management
Queensland College of Teachers current registration
Written, current Pastor’s reference

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with diverse needs, including those with learning difficulties, disabilities, or behavioural challenges
Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to coordinate student support services and monitor progress
Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to students, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and other core subjects
Conduct assessments, collect data, and maintain detailed records to track student progress and inform future interventions
Coordinate referrals to external support services, such as counselling or occupational therapy, as needed
Attend and contribute to student support team meetings, case conferences, and parent-teacher meetings
Facilitate professional development workshops for teachers on inclusive practices and student support strategies
Selection criteria includes:
Thorough knowledge of learning disabilities, developmental disorders, and evidence-based intervention strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
Proficient in using technology and data management tools to track student progress and inform decision-making
Passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of primary school students
Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of Citipointe Christian College
