About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and innovative English Teacher to join our Secondary School team for a 1-year maternity leave contract, starting 2nd March, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to high-quality teaching, strong relationships with students, and contributing to a vibrant and supportive school community.


About you

To be considered, you must:

Be a committed, practising Christian, actively involved in a local church
Support the mission and values of Greenacre Christian College
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organisational skills
Have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, open to learn, and capable of working efficiently within a collaborative team environment
Have an effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
Hold relevant teaching qualifications, NESA accreditation, valid Working with Children Check and Clearance to teach in NSW
Have a recent experience in teaching English (preferred)
