For over 40 years, manuhiri (visitors) from around the world have travelled to see the famous Agrodome Farm Show. The Woollen Mill and Shearing Museum are located on-site to add to the educational and fun time experienced 365 days a year.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, this role will see you welcoming manuhiri from all over the world, sharing your knowledge about our activities and products at the Agrodome and ensuing every visitor has an unforgettable experience. You'll be working with our retail team to help our manuhiri find the perfect gift to take home, sharing your passion for New Zealand made products. You will play a part in presenting and managing stock and helping reach sales targets. You will also get the opportunity to broaden your skills with cross-training in other areas of the Agrodome.

As part of the Ngāi Tahu Tourism group this role is an opportunity to contribute to the group's vision of enriching the lives of current and future generations of Ngāi Tahu Whānui.

A little bit about you

Can impress our manuhiri with your exceptional customer service skills
Has a minimum of 12 months customer service/retail experience
Works well in a diverse team
Keeps calm under pressure
Can work shifts on weekdays, weekends and public holidays
Is open to learning about Ngāi Tahu culture and history
