Chai Spice is a fast-growing Canadian CPG brand bringing authentic masala chai to retail shelves and online customers across Alberta. As we expand distribution, we are building a stronger ecommerce engine to drive direct-to-consumer growth.

We are seeking an Ecommerce Growth Lead to take ownership of paid acquisition and online revenue performance for a focused 3-month growth sprint, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

This is a hands-on, performance-driven role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a structured paid media strategy while improving conversion performance within Shopify.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads (Search and Shopping)
Develop and optimize Meta ad campaigns (retargeting and prospecting)
Ensure accurate tracking setup (GA4, Meta Pixel, Conversion API)
Improve conversion rates through Shopify optimization and landing page testing
Monitor and optimize CAC, ROAS, and AOV
Collaborate with the content team to test and iterate creative assets
Build reporting dashboards and document processes for long-term sustainability
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

Clean, reliable tracking and structured ad accounts
Measurable ecommerce revenue growth
Identified and scaled high-performing campaigns
Documented paid media framework and SOPs for future continuity
Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing paid media for ecommerce brands
Strong experience with Google Search and Shopping strategy
Demonstrated success scaling Meta campaigns
Experience improving conversion rates on Shopify
Strong analytical and performance-driven mindset
Ability to work independently and take ownership of results

Open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. This role is based in Calgary and requires in-person collaboration at Chai Spice HQ.
