Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts & Accessories Sales Associate to join our powersports dealership team. This role is responsible for assisting customers with motorcycle, ATV, UTV, and off-road vehicle parts, riding gear, and accessories. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced dealership environment, has strong organizational and communication skills, and is passionate about powersports and outdoor recreation. this is a base pay plus commission position well suited for highly motivated individuals. Prior dealership or parts counter experience is highly regaurded.
Duties
Assist customers in selecting parts, accessories, riding gear, and safety equipment for motorcycles, ATVs, and off-road vehicles
Provide accurate product recommendations based on vehicle fitment, customer needs, and manufacturer specifications
Process parts and accessory sales using POS systems, including cash, card, and special-order transactions
Manage special orders and backorders, through customer communication and follow-up
Maintain organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing parts and accessory displays
Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as guided by department head
Answer phone, txt and email inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and compatibility
Work closely with the unit sales department to supply accessories and riding gear for new unit contract sales
Work closely with the service department to supply parts for repair orders in a timely manner
Support dealership promotions, seasonal accessory sales, and new product rollouts
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts counter, showroom displays, and storage areas
Experience & Qualifications
Prior experience in a powersports, motorcycle, automotive, or parts counter sales is preferred
Retail sales, customer service, or counter sales experience is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems, inventory software, and basic computer applications (Excel, email, Lightspeed)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate order processing and inventory management
Knowledge of maintenance, repair procedures, or parts catalogs (OEM or aftermarket) is an advantage
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Pay: $15.77-$19.00 per hour
