In person Tutor : English and/or Math with Yr 0-Yr13 students

We are a new educational tutoring centre in the heart of Highland Park, servicing the Howick area called Success Tutoring Howick. We will be supporting students from Year 0 to Year 13 across primary and secondary schooling in English and Math when we open in April/May.

Success Tutoring began in Sydney and has grown rapidly due to its proven impact on student performance, confidence, and parent satisfaction.

We are looking for 4 tutors to join the team as casuals shortly before opening when training begins. When the centre opens we can move staff to part-time permanent positions, as soon as we work out the shifts you can do. We are expecting the business to grow quite quickly and so there will be opportunities to pick up extra shifts, longer hours and holiday work. Training and mentoring will be provided.

Tutor Role :

Assess, support, mentor and educate students from Yr 0-13 in English and Math as a tutor.

Complete reports on students and track results
Manage and retain relationships with parents/guardians and communicate student results
Attend termly meetings & try to attend team outings

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

Must consent to a Police Vetting check
Students completing a diploma, a bachelor degree or just completed it
Over 18: workers or teachers wanting casual or part-time work
Solid academic performance in NCEA Level 3
Must be able to specialise in one or more senior NCEA subjects if looking for a role working with Secondary students.
Must be able to work after 3pm weekdays and/or Saturday mornings 2 hours min 3 days a week. Longer hours will become available as our business grows.
Must be willing to participate in photos/ videos for social media to help our brand and business grow.
Bonus attributes: social media, AI or marketing experience.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour dependent on experience

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
