We teach students of all ages and skill levels, creating a fun, supportive, and modern learning environment. Our lessons go beyond music, fostering life skills such as confidence, discipline, and resilience.
Other music schools just fill rosters. At Music Lessons Australia, we invest in you. We believe the best teachers are those who feel confident, supported, and valued. Whether you’re building your first resume, looking for a rewarding side job, or eager to gain real teaching experience, this is a role where you’ll love what you do and get paid well for it.
Why teach with us?
Choose your own hours – we work around your uni and life schedule
No teaching experience? No problem – we’ll train you and give you all the resources you need
Teach from our contemporary #AntiExams syllabus
Work locally in your own neighbourhood
Great pay, well above the award, plus travel reimbursement
Be part of a vibrant community of young teachers across Australia
Improve your own skills while inspiring the next generation of musicians
What we’re looking for
At least 8 years of experience playing your instrument or studying music theory
Bonus if you’ve done AMEB/ABRSM/Trinity exams
