Jr. Site Engineer/ Sr. Site Engineer

Job Description:

Supervise all on-site civil work including excavation, RCC, steelwork, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, finishing, etc.
 Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
 Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and labour teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
 Monitor construction progress and maintain daily work reports, site diaries, and material logs.
 Verify material quality and quantities received at the site;coordinate with the procurement team.
 Assist in setting out, levelling, and surveying the site using appropriate tools.
 Ensure proper safety measures and compliance with HSE policies on-site.
 Conduct regular quality checks to ensure workmanship standards are maintained.
 Report deviations or technical issues to the Project Manager and suggest corrective measures.
 Prepare and assist in the accurate preparation of measurement sheets, work done statements, and bills for contractor and vendor payments.
 Assist in quantity surveying, estimation of project costs, and material requirements based on drawings and specifications.
 Liaise with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals.

Skills & Education:

 Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering.

 Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project coordination.
 Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.

 Proven knowledge and experience in billing, quantity surveying, and estimation for civil construction projects.
 Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other site management tools.
