About Stakewell Stakewell is a Toronto-based firm that partners with non-technical startup founders across Canada and the US, providing fully managed engineering teams in exchange for equity. We operate across three cities: Toronto, Ahmedabad, and Delhi. We are building one of the most unique talent operations in the India-Canada corridor.

The Role We are looking for a sharp, driven Technical Recruiter to join our India team. Your job is to find, assess, and place exceptional engineers across our growing portfolio of partner companies. You will not be filling roles for one company. You will be building and maintaining a living bench of pre-vetted talent across multiple stacks, ready to deploy when a new partner engagement activates.

What You'll Do
• Source senior and mid-level engineers across full stack, backend, frontend, mobile, and DevOps disciplines
• Build and maintain an active talent bench in Ahmedabad and Delhi NCR simultaneously
• Screen candidates technically and culturally before presenting to the tech leads
• Own the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing to offer
• Build relationships with engineering communities, colleges, and developer networks in your city
• Maintain candidate pipelines in our ATS and keep records clean and current
• Work closely with Akshay and Puneet to understand active hiring requirements across partner companies

What You Bring
• 2 to 4 years of technical recruitment experience, preferably at a staffing firm, product company, or startup
• Strong knowledge of engineering roles, tech stacks, and how to assess technical candidates without being an engineer yourself
• Existing network in the Ahmedabad or Delhi developer community
• Fast, organised, and comfortable managing multiple open roles simultaneously
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Genuine interest in startups and the global tech ecosystem
