Kingscliff In Home Educator Position Available

Position Vacant – In-Home Educator (Kingscliff)

We are seeking a caring and reliable In Home Educator to support a single parent family in Kingscliff. Mum is a nurse/midwife, and the role involves caring for two children ages 5 and 7 years. The family has shared care with the father, so care is required on a week on, week off basis.

Example shifts

Every Wednesday and Thursday night
Every second weekend from Friday to Monday morning
6:00am – 9:00am – includes supporting the morning routine and school drop off
5:00pm – 8:00pm – includes school pick up from after school care and occasionally taking one child to music therapy.

Hourly rate:

$40.00 per hour

Essential Criteria

Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA-approved)
Minimum 2 years’ experience
National Child Safety Training (Geccko)
Current First Aid & CPR certification (early childhood specific)
Working With Children Check (NSW)
National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
Child Protection Training completed within the last 2 years
ABN (contractor/self-employed position)
Strong commitment to child safety and child-safe practices
Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework
