Early Childhood Educator for our Nursery Room at Froebel St Leonards

Froebel St Leonards is one of 5 early learning services run by the not-for-profit provider Froebel Australia. The centre offers inspiring learning environments on 3 levels plus a rooftop playground for 99 children from 6 months to 6 years. Our educational program focuses on immersive language learning (second language: German) and inquiry-based early learning by implementing the Little Scientists program (https://littlescientists.org.au/). We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team in our Nursery room on a permanent full-time basis.

The successful candidate will:

hold an approved Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education; we are not looking for an ECT
have notable work experience as an early childhood educator
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to built and grow trusting relationships with colleagues, families and community members
have an interest in immersive language learning and inquiry-based learning; an interest in STEM is a bonus
have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
last but definitely not least: have a sunny personality with a positive mindset!
