Maths or English K-12 Tutor (In-Centre Role)

Are you an inspiring and dedicated individual with a passion for teaching? LYT Education is actively looking for TWO enthusiastic Maths and English Tutors to join our team!

We are looking for tutors with a real PASSION for teaching Maths and/or English, is highly results-driven and has fast response times.

We are seeking:

University level students - Education, Law, Medicine, Engineering students will be highly regarded
High school students from James Ruse/Baulkham Hills/North Sydney Boys/selective schools who have demonstrated academic excellence
Experienced primary and high school teachers
Tasks & responsibilities of the role:

Create engaging and suitable teaching resources to add to LYT Education's high quality resource database
Deliver top-quality learning experiences with LYT Education’s materials.
Provide actionable and personalised feedback to students
Manage students appropriately to ensure successful completion of learning objectives.
Check-in with students' knowledge and retention of concepts.
Share teaching insights and expertise with other members of the team during staff debriefing and training sessions.
The ideal candidate should have either:

scored a band 6 in their HSC English subjects and studied at least Advanced English OR
scored a band 6 in their HSC Mathematics subjects and studied at least Advanced Maths OR
have at least 1 year teaching experience
flexibility to teach English and Maths will be highly regarded
flexibility to teach primary and high school levels will be highly regarded
Further requirements:

excellent communication skills.
a strong desire to see their students' academic improvement.

A stable income with a fixed weekly timetable. Salary will be decided depending on your tutoring work experience, HSC/School results (ATAR + marks) and teaching quality.
