Job Description
OC & Selective School Tutor (NSW Curriculum)
Location: Rouse Hill / Tallawong / Riverstone
Job Type: Casual / Part-Time
Pay: $34–$40 per hour (based on experience)
AGCoaching is a structured academic coaching provider specialising in high-performance tutoring aligned with the NSW Curriculum. We are not simply a tutoring service focused on marks — we build disciplined study habits, resilience, confidence, and strong character. Academic results follow from strong systems and mindset.
We are expanding our OC and Selective School preparation program and are seeking a tutor who is passionate about mentoring students and aligned with our long-term mission.
Role Overview
You will work with primary students (Years 3–6) preparing for:
OC Placement Tests
Selective School Entrance Exams
Advanced Mathematics
Advanced English (Reading, Writing, Thinking Skills)
Sessions may be one-on-one or small group (maximum 4 students), primarily in-person in the local area.
Essential Requirements
ATAR of 95+ (required)
Completed high school within the NSW education system (applicants educated overseas will not be considered)
Strong academic background in Mathematics and English
Clear understanding of the NSW Curriculum
Previous tutoring or teaching experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for mentoring and developing student character, not just improving marks
Humility, coachability, and willingness to follow structured systems
Reliable and professional
Valid WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
ABN (or willingness to obtain)
Availability Requirements
Applicants must have consistent availability across at least THREE of the following:
Weekdays: 4:30pm – 8:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Consistency is essential. Students are assigned based on long-term fit and reliability.
