Located in the heart of West Vancouver, just minutes away from downtown, our boutique features the work of award-winning master goldsmiths. We take pride in creating a relaxed and welcoming environment where our customers can find unique, timeless pieces.
Role Description
This role requires someone who is highly organized with good attention to detail, and with some back-office experience. Ability to converse with luxury goods buyers, and excellent verbal and written English skills required. Duties include back-office tasks such as simple bookkeeping tasks, inventory, daily setup/take-down of showcases. Additionally, this individual will assist on the sales floor as needed.
If you have the maturity, poise and empathy to engage in meaningful conversations with our well-heeled clientele, we want to hear from you. While jewelry expertise is highly desirable, luxury sales experience may also suffice. Note that Stittgen is a commission-free collegial environment and you would be paid an hourly rate commensurate with your experience.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Impeccable English language skills.
Knowledge of fine jewelry, gemstones, and precious metals. Previous retail or sales experience in the luxury or jewelry industry is essential.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a tidy and visually appealing retail space.
Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, as required.
Ability to work as a team player and take on a variety of tasks.
Note to those not living on the North Shore: Commuting to/from the North Shore has become very time-consuming; please consider your ability to get to 1457 Bellevue Avenue in West Vancouver before applying.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 15 – 22.5 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
West Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
