About the Role

The Admissions & School Success Coordinator supports the full student journey, from a family's first inquiry through enrollment and throughout their time at the school.


This role combines admissions, family engagement, and student success support, ensuring prospective families have a welcoming admissions experience and current families feel supported and connected to the school community.


The advisor works closely with school leadership, teachers, and families to help students thrive while strengthening long-term family relationships and retention.


Key Responsibilities

Admissions & Enrollment

Serve as the primary contact for prospective families during the admissions process
Respond to inquiries and guide families through the application process
Conduct school tours and information sessions
Coordinate admissions documentation and application review processes
Support enrollment decision communication and onboarding for new families
Maintain accurate admissions records and track prospective student pipelines
Organize admissions events, open houses, and outreach initiatives
Student Support

Monitor student progress, engagement, and attendance
Identify early indicators of academic or social-emotional challenges
Conduct student check-ins and help coordinate support when needed
Assist with student transitions (new students, grade changes, program transitions)
Advocate for student needs while reinforcing school expectations
Family Engagement

Serve as a trusted point of contact for families on student-related matters
Proactively communicate with parents regarding student progress and support plans
Guide new families through onboarding and integration into the school community
Help families understand school programs, policies, and expectations
Help resolve concerns early and constructively

Qualifications

Core Skills & Experience

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to build trust with families, students, and colleagues
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on details
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate complex situations calmly and constructively
Ability to collaborate across teams and coordinate information between families, teachers, and school leadership
Comfort using digital systems for communication, record keeping, and scheduling (CRM systems, email platforms, school information systems, etc.)
A proactive and service-oriented mindset focused on helping students and families succeed
Preferred Backgrounds

K–12 education or school administration
Admissions or enrollment management
Customer success or account management
Parent relations, client services, or community engagement
Youth services, counseling, or family support work
Parents or caregivers returning to the workforce with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
