Role Overview
We are seeking a Landscape Architect / Environmental Design Professional to join our Mumbai office. The role involves working on conceptual, schematic, and detailed landscape design for a range of projects while ensuring sustainability, functionality, and visual appeal.
The candidate will contribute to site analysis, master planning, planting design, and technical documentation, while coordinating with architects, planners, engineers, clients, and project stakeholders to deliver successful landscape projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop landscape design concepts, master plans, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, hospitality, and public space projects.
Conduct site analysis and environmental assessments, including topography, soil conditions, drainage, climate, and vegetation studies.
Prepare conceptual designs, presentation materials, and design documentation for client presentations and project approvals.
Design softscape and hardscape elements, including planting plans, pathways, water features, lighting, recreational spaces, and outdoor public areas.
Prepare technical drawings, construction documentation, BOQs, and planting specifications.
Utilize CAD, 3D modeling, and visualization tools to produce design drawings and presentations.
Integrate sustainable landscape practices, including water conservation, native plant selection, and environmentally responsible materials.
Collaborate with architects, urban planners, civil engineers, and project consultants to ensure seamless integration of landscape design with overall project development.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors during project development and execution.
Conduct site visits and monitor implementation to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, documentation, and design quality are maintained.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, Architecture, Urban Design, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in Landscape Design, Site Planning, and Spatial Planning.
Strong knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental design principles.
Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, Revit, or other 3D modeling and visualization software.
Strong research, conceptual design, and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in landscape architecture, urban design, or environmental design projects.
Experience working on large-scale developments, hospitality projects, or mixed-use projects.
Knowledge of sustainable design frameworks such as LEED, IGBC, or similar green building certifications.
