Job Title and Overview

Position: Assistant Purchase Manager

Location: Udaipur, Rajasthan, India
Reporting to: Director

This role supports procurement of raw materials and utility items for manufacturing operations, focusing on cost efficiency, timely supply, and supplier management. The ideal candidate ensures seamless material flow while optimizing costs and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Procure raw materials and utility materials from approved suppliers, ensuring quality, quantity, and compliance with company standards.​
Analyze purchase quantities based on production forecasts, inventory levels, and demand trends to avoid shortages or excess stock.​
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best value and favorable delivery schedules.
Issue purchase orders (POs) on time, accurately documenting specifications, quantities, prices, and delivery timelines.
Follow up with suppliers on order status, deliveries, and issue resolution to maintain supply chain reliability.​
Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and inventory to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.
Maintain records of POs, invoices, and vendor interactions; prepare reports on procurement metrics for management review.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field; MBA preferred.
3-5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, ideally in manufacturing or electronics industries.​
