Part time early morning loader

Duties and Responsibilities

Hours Between 2:00 and 7:00 am, Monday –Saturday

Unload trailers and reload into straight trucks and trailers

Sorting and rebuilding Pallets, handling large quantities of boxes

Start trucks and back into docks for loading, single and tandem axle.

Check and set reefer controls in trucks

Operate and maintain power equipment, trucks and delivery equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Sort product and visually inspect pallets being loaded on trucks for accuracy.

Strap all pallets being loaded.

Do paperwork and organize pallets being loaded into trailers from warehouse.

Maintain good communication with both office, peers and drivers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must have a valid Class 5 license with a clean 3 year commercial abstract dated not more than 30 days.

Must have a resent criminal background check.

Must be physically fit and able to repetitively lift 30-75lbs.

Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Must have an upbeat positive attitude when dealing with peers.

Must have steel toe (CSA approved) footwear.

Must have experience operating a power jack and stand up forklift (straddle reach).

This is a 3-6 hour per day, 5 or 6 days a week, position, please don't apply if you cannot work these day and hours.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
