Laundry attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel by ensuring all linens, towels, and guest laundry are properly cleaned, folded, and organized. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, experience in hotel laundry operations, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. Duties

Operate laundry machines such as washers and dryers efficiently to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
Sort laundry items according to type and color to prevent damage or color bleeding
Fold, organize, and stock clean linens in designated storage areas
Ensure all laundry is handled in accordance with health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces
Assist with additional cleaning tasks around the hotel as needed to support overall property maintenance
Follow proper procedures for handling delicate or special care items
Requirements

Previous hotel experience or background in laundry services is preferred
Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and basic cleaning procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety protocols at all times
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
