We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior/Mid-Level Architect/ Experienced Graduate of Architecture / Building Designer / Draftsperson to join our team, and contribute to a variety of ongoing and upcoming projects.

The Role:
This opportunity is best suited to an industry professional committed to a long-term career with a forward-thinking and expanding design office. Working closely with the Company Director, you will play a crucial role in driving project success from initial design through to project completion. This position requires proficiency in all stages of the design and documentation process, including Concept, DA, CC, or CDC stages. Expertise with REVIT software, along with a strong understanding of State and Local Planning Controls, the NCC and Australian Standards, is essential. The role requires someone with outstanding interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, who is self-motivated and has a positive and proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop designs and deliver detailed documentation for Commercial, Industrial, and Residential projects.
Efficiently execute amendments to documentation as required.
Support the delivery of projects across Concept/DA/CC/CDC stages efficiently.
Ensure project compliance with State and Local Planning Controls.
Ensure project compliance with the NCC and Australian Standards.
Collaborate effectively with team members, consultants, council staff, clients and other key stakeholders.
Attend consultant, Council, builder and client meetings as required.
Provide clear communication in verbal, written, and drawing formats.
Respond promptly to firm needs and expectations.

Continuously expand knowledge and stay updated with industry changes.
Attend site visits/inspections.
General office duties.
Skills/Requirements:

5+ years of local experience working on Commercial, Industrial, and Residential projects.
Must hold formal Australian qualifications (Bachelor/Masters in Architecture or Diploma in Building Design)
Proficiency with REVIT software.
Proficiency with Enscape software, is highly regarded but not essential.
A sound understanding of State and Local Planning Controls.
A sound understanding of the NCC and Australian Standards.
Experience in Tendering and Contracts Administration, is highly regarded.
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is essential (No overseas applicants, working visas, or employment agencies please).
